HSVMA (Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association) is a student branch club working to follow the HSVMA mission to use “expertise and resources to advance animal welfare via leadership, advocacy, education and service.” For anyone interested in animal welfare issues or shelter medicine, HSVMA is a great club to join! HSVMA is a newer organization to Glasgow but so far have hosted talks, virtual suture labs and the annual Animal Welfare Symposium.
