GLASGOW VET RODEO

The GUVMA Rodeo is an annual family event run entirely by a committee of vet students. It attracts between 3000-5000 visitors annually, mostly from the Glasgow area! Many of the visitors bring along their pets totake part in events which run throughout the day. This is a day of entertainment and education! It allows interaction and communication between veterinary students, faculty, commercial businesses, charities and families from the Glasgow area.

SAIN (STUDENTS FOR ANIMALS IN NEED)

We are a student-run charity which helps fund cases in need at the Small Animal Hospital and Weipers. We fund-raise throughout the year. We have to use ethical reasoning skills to choose if and how much we can donate to the cases submitted to us, as our funds are very limited. Every year, we recruit two first year reps who will remain within the committee until they finish vet school! :)
