The Diversity and Inclusion Student Committee aims to promote equity and inclusion throughout the University of Glasgow. We advocate for students, liaise with staff to inspire change, do community outreach, and put on events to raise awareness of issues.

In this past year, we:
- Started the induction buddy program
- Helped with GUVMA D&I month and worked with D&I officer.
- Got pronouns on name badges
- Highlighted our amazing D+I support staff
- Hosted a student-led sexual health chat
- Organised a women’s aid workshop
- Organised a men’s mental health talk
- Helped staff with Athena Swan diversity certification
- Provided inclusive opinions on GUVMA policies
- Established a disability liaison and support group
