Hi everyone! Glasgow Ecological & Conservational Health Organization (GECHO) is for students who are interested in learning more about conservation, ecology and the species that are underrepresented in our courses. We hold lots of events throughout the year so make sure to check us out!
Glasgow Farm Animal Veterinary Society (GFAVS)
GFAVS is the Glasgow Farm Animal Vet Society and is for any vet student who is interested in farm animal workand wants to learn more than is taught in lectures - regardless of farming background.
Our aim is to bring a variety of farm animal based workshops and interesting presentations to the vet school -guest speakers are always happy to answer questions and offer a great chance to make new contacts and explore the unseen parts of farm practice!

Glasgow University Veterinary Zoological Society
Exotics, zoo medicine, wildlife, conservation, epidemiology of emerging diseases, wildlife rehabilitation, marine animal medicine, and everything in between! In GUVZS, we try our best to bring in professionals who work in these fields to come speak to us on what they're passionate about!
International Veterinary Student Association
IVSA Glasgow is our local chapter and is open to all students (even if you aren't an 'international' student). We host events and exchanges with other universities. Joining IVSA is a great for networking and there are endless opportunities and resources available.
Pathology Club
Glasgow University Veterinary School's student-run pathology club for all interested in anatomic or clinical pathology! We host talks, wet-labs, practicals, and other learning and social events. Interested in disease and pestilence? Always wondered how you diagnose diabetes? Did you just itch to open the neighbour’s dog that died suddenly to find out why? This is the place for you!
